O-1 Visas

Extraordinary ability, recognized.

The O-1 is for individuals with extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics — or extraordinary achievement in motion picture, television, or the arts. Most O-1 petitions we handle resolve in three months or less.

Two categories

O-1A

Extraordinary ability in sciences, education, business, or athletics. Examples: Nobel laureates, high-earning professionals, recognized researchers.

O-1B

Extraordinary achievement in the arts, motion picture, or television. Examples: Oscar-level film professionals, recognized performing artists.
